What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee client budgets to provide accurate projections and determine program longevity
- Perform complex financial analysis and reporting using multiple data sets
- Compile monthly departmental expenditure and revenue reports
- Provide accounting and budget guidance for program staff
- Participate in the preparation of clients' annual budget requests

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, statistics, or related field
- Four years of experience in monitoring, developing, analyzing, and overseeing budgets in a public agency
- Knowledge of GAAP, budget and financial analysis, and governmental accounting
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to changing work priorities and meet deadlines

- Experience in a government agency setting
- Familiarity with Arizona state regulations and policies
