- Provides support to the operations and local BaSE team regarding facility maintenance dispatch items related to the concerns.
- Dispatch or meet with the CBRE technician for non-UPS mechanic facility repairs.
- Collaborates cross functionally with district supervisors acquiring knowledge of district facility equipment and warranty and sites access.
- Enhance communication process or create equipment maps for the coordination of repairs.
- Collaborates with IFM supervisors to ensure that facilities are compliant.
- Input Maximo work orders, when mechanics are present in a facility, based on repair needs from support audits, facility walks or other.
- Provides Follow up and correspondence on all open repair work orders as needed. Sends notification to district/region (as applicable) – guidance provided on type of system.
- QA1 Approver (possible if authorized)
- Approve work orders for work dispatched from all areas to your area of responsibility.
- Checking for quality and doing research on the work orders as needed to ensure that the vendor is providing a fair quote.
- Verify PMI completion
- Collecting and storing PMI reports
- Ensuring the deficiencies are being dispatched and resolved
- Verifying the complete of PMIs on time and any repairs input and completed
- Vendor Communication
- Communication will vendors on clarity of repairs and dispatching additional items based on findings. Collect pictures or verbal to indicate completion of task and repairs items.
- Will travel as needed to provide support to the local teams via working with the vendors at various locations.
- Will become an SME in scope of work documentation associated with various RFP bids (housekeeping, Landscaping, waste management, PMI’s, etc.)
- Travel to other buildings
- Some travel to local buildings required to meet with venders, audit and verify repair work.
- Planning for travel as need within the work week.
- Repair oversight/projects for your supervisor to have onsite personnel for verification of completion of emergency items.

Job Summary
The IFM Support Specialist is a Grade 10E role that provides remote and in person vendor emergency and non-emergency support including but not limited to (UPS and O/S housekeeping employees, Facility repairs, Fire Life Safety, Waste Management, Ordering of Supplies and Employee Compliance Training). He/she will also directly follow up on facility related issues to ensure that repairs from UPS systems are being reviewed and corresponding work orders are being dispatched and followed up on in a timely manner. This position will require the specialist to report to IFM supervisor in facility repair projects including but not limited to RFA creation, coordination of the repair and communication with vendors. This responsibility consists of providing knowledgeable input, dispatching, and follow up to respond to facility issues coming from internal customers.
