Salary is commensurate with experience with anticipated starting range between $54,200 – $59,700.

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a field related to architecture, construction or drafting.
Intermediate skills with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of project databases.
Knowledge and understanding of Construction Documents
Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
Scan-to-BIM and/or 3D Point Cloud experience
Autodesk Revit
Higher education work or construction work is an asset

If so, this opportunity is tailor-made for you! Embark on a journey where your proficiency in BIM modeling meets the forefront of technology with 3D Point Cloud Lidar scanning. Your role will involve validating University spaces, curating and refining building models and floor plans, and optimizing our space inventory. Visit locations across the Texas A&M campus to capture spatial data using state-of-the-art 3D Lidar scanners. Unleash your creativity as you collaborate with fellow professionals to develop compelling media for presentations and analyses, bolstering our planning and infrastructure management endeavors. Join us in shaping the future of spatial documentation!
Opportunities to contribute:
You will utilize your expertise in using 3D Laser scanning and Scan-to-BIM software to design and prep lifecycle BIM models of existing campus facilities, as well as analysis to organize and visualize building space data. Supporting campus operations, your responsibilities may include creating data dashboards, creation of lifecycle BIM models from 3D Lidar scans of facilities, and generating ad hoc reports. You will get to visit onsite locations on campus to capture using 3D Lidar Scanners. Your efforts will make the facilities BIM data more accessible to other departments, faculty, staff, and visitors. Exceptional communication, organizational, and customer service skills are essential components of your job, guaranteeing a high standard of service across all aspects of your responsibilities.
