- Working with the students we serve and staff to observe, identify, analyze, and document
- a range of behavior challenges
- Determining specific behavior problems or social adjustment difficulties of students
- and recommend interventions.
- Drafting and implementing behavior plans and individual crisis management plans
- Conducting functional behavioral assessments
- Assisting administrators, teachers and staff in implementing plans and using
- appropriate behavioral strategies and interventions
- Administering appropriate and necessary testing
- Participating in conference, evaluations, and IEP meetings as appropriate
- Preparing progress reports and evaluations
- Working with parents and apprise them of problems and progress
- Keeping abreast of developments in the field.
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst Certification
- Masters Degree and DESE licensure preferred and experience as a Special
- Education Teacher and/or BCBA preferred, ideally in a diverse public school setting.
- Experience developing behavior plans and crisis management plans
- Knowledge of Safety Care preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- A reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach.
- A commitment to collaboration in support of all students learning and development
- Competent with technology, including Google Suite
- Valid driver’s license
