  As our Bunker Coordinator, you will be in charge of fuel planning for our fleet. In brief, your role will be to guarantee that our ships are consistently supplied with the optimal amount of fuel for a safe and efficient voyage.

  Stolt Tankers a division of Stolt-Nielsen Limited (SNL), is the specialist in transporting bulk liquids: Chemicals, clean petroleum, gases, vegetable oils, biofuels and oleochemicals. We are continuously seeking how we can add value for our customers.

  What will you be doing

  Join our dynamic team and make a significant impact in our expanding Voyage Coordinator Center. Our fleet will undergo a transformation in the coming years, as we introduce newer and more environmentally friendly ships. You are able to discover and identify alternative fuels to assist in our efforts to minimize our environmental impact.

  Your role will be crucial in coordinating the timely delivery of fuel to align with the arrivals and departures of ships, guaranteeing a seamless and effective operation.

  Key Responsibilities

  • Keep a close eye on the bunker planning status for the entire fleet and take the necessary steps to initiate the planning process.
  • Analyze various bunker plans to evaluate and make data-driven choices based on different scenarios.
  • Build strong connections and make the most of current partnerships with suppliers.
  • Collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders, including Ship Operators, Operation Managers, and Agents, to arrange and manage bunker supply stems.
  • Stay informed about latest trends and alternative fuels, gaining a deep understanding of global ports and bunker pricing.
  • Ensure that ships have the necessary information to plan bunker refills in line with business needs.

  Qualifications

  • At least 4 years of experience in shipping or fuel purchasing in a global set-up.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Fluency in English, both in spoken and written communication.
  • Great understanding of vessel voyage calculations and fuel systems. Knowledge of alternative fuels will be considered as a plus.
  • Strong familiarity with bunkering policies throughout a range of European and International ports.
  • Excellent organizational and negotiating skills.
