      The Salvation Army, an internationally recognized non-profit, faith-based organi zation, has a terrific opportunity for a Bus Monitor role at Evangeline Booth Training College in Atlanta, GA.

      This is a Casual/Part-time position with out employee benefits. 10 - 19 hours per week and may require availability in mornings and afternoons . Pay $15.00 per hour.

      J ob Summary
      Ride with the Bus Driver when transporting children to/from school or activities to ensure compliance with Safe from Harm policies, assist the driver in maintaining discipline while the bus is in operation , assist students loading and unloading on the bus, coordinate and enforce seating arrangements as required, ensures that all children have seat belts properly faste ned , and remain in compliance with any applicable laws, maintains an accurate count of all children to ensure that no child is left behind unless different arrangements have been made.

      Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
      Ability to control children on the bus in a stern but calm and pleasant manner, perform simple mathematical equations, work effect ively and cooperatively with co-workers, follow instructions, and work independently

      Education and Experience

      High Scholl diploma or G.E.D
      No prior experience required

      None

      Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

      Ability to read, write , and communicate the English language effectively, to get on and off a 12-passenger van. Duties are usually performed seated. Limited amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting, and carrying light objects (less than 25LBC)
