      Business Project Associate Analyst

      Job Summary:

      Cigna Supplemental Benefits (CSB) provides supplemental insurance products to individuals sold through agents and directly to the consumer via website. This role reports into the Project Management Organization (PMO) ensuring successful administration of new enrollments. The Business Project Associate Analyst is responsible for testing updates/enhancements to CSB enrollment systems and policy print. They will execute the Business Acceptance Testing (BAT) for our systems, working with IT resources to ensure successful system implementations.

      Key Job Functions:

      • Execute test plans, scenarios, and scripts for new products and functionality on electronic enrollment systems.
      • Modify existing test cases and maintenance tasks for electronic enrollment.
      • Perform Business Checkout on for each release.
      • Document test case execution, test results and defects in Jira.
      • Collaborate with team members to communicate testing progress, issues, results, and other relevant information to project teams, Product Owners, and IT.
      • Validate monthly rate increases on multiple electronic enrollment platforms.
      • Complete BAT on Policy Print documents for new products and amendments to existing products.

      Minimum Qualifications:

      • Associates Degree preferred or equivalent Insurance work experience.
      • Knowledge of CSB products, application requirements and underwriting guidelines preferred.
      • Express App, OnBase and LifePRO experience preferred.
      • Testing/Auditing experience preferred.
      • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel, OneNote, SharePoint

      Skills and Competencies:

      • Demonstrated attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
      • Effective verbal and written communications.
      • Proven time-management skills, including the ability to complete multiple projects simultaneously and in a timely manner.
      • Must be able to work nights for business checkout 1-2 times per month.


      If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

      For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 22 - 34 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

      This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
