      Our Corporate & Commercial Banking (CCB) business is entering an exciting new phase of growth, and to help deliver the investment portfolio supporting this, we are growing our CCB Change team with this exciting Business Analysis & Change Manager opportunity.

      As a Business Analysis & Change Manager, you will manage projects either as part of a wider programme reporting to a Programme Manager or otherwise on a more autonomous basis working closely with initiative owners in the CCB business. You will be responsible for monitoring and supervising changes to business processes and systems, technology platforms, data, customer journeys and risk & regulatory compliance frameworks, ensuring that change projects are implemented on time and within budget.

      You will proactively monitor and control project progress to plan, including identifying risks and issues, tracking project costs, and confirming benefits and associated KPIs. You will build relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders and suppliers to manage projects through the various lifecycle stages, adhering to the banks governance framework throughout and ensuring that all changes are fully embedded and planned benefits realised.

      The difference you’ll make:

      • Managing the smooth implementation of new products, services and functions by understanding the customer, process, technology and people impacts of change and anticipating risks and issues

      • Using data modelling practices to analyse findings and creating suggestions for strategic and operational improvements and changes, and identifying and understanding the needs of multiple stakeholders and translating them into project requirements

      • Working across multiple workstreams or sub-projects, directing business analysis resources within each area

      • Providing challenge and scrutiny around chosen approaches and methods of delivery in support of achieving a successful outcome for the business and our customers.

      • Providing full project lifecycle support, from planning through current/target state modelling to new target operating & control model formulation

      • Developing and executing tailored implementation plans for each project including determining pilot entry and exit criteria, roll out approach, etc.

      What you’ll bring:

      • Experience managing projects (ideally with a technology or regulatory outlook), working with agile and waterfall delivery methodologies, meeting deadlines and collaborating with third parties

      • Excellent knowledge of investigation & analysis techniques, business process modelling, requirements development and impact assessment


      It would also be nice for you to have:

      • Excellent analytical and modelling skills, analytical mindset, evidence-based approach.

      • Experience of cost budgeting and financial forecasting or modelling

      • Problem solving skills (breaking down complex problems into manageable pieces, vetting assumptions, creating frameworks, testing hypotheses)

      • Experience of project management in the financial services industry, or alternatively wider experience of corporate banking in a customer-facing, product or support role

      We are a national business, and this role will be based in any one of our CCB offices which includes Belfast, Birmingham, Glasgow, Liverpool, Manchester and Milton Keynes. We are happy to discuss location preferences with you during the recruitment process. Our current expectation is at least 2 days in an office every week.

      • Eligible for a discretionary performance-related annual bonus

      • We put 8% of salary into your pension, even if you don’t contribute yourself. We’ll pay in up to 12.5% of salary, if you contribute as well, and you can take some of our contribution in cash if you prefer.

      • 30 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, which increases to 31 days after 5yrs service, with the option to purchase up to 5 contractual days per year
