      This internship is a 10-week long program with a set hourly rate of $30.00/hour.

      Job Description

      With Fannie Mae’s 10-week (June 2024 - August 2024) paid internship program you will be empowered to drive change, lead with creativity, own your career, and make a difference.       THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE

      We have internships available in various departments within our business and operations teams in Single-Family, Multifamily and Enterprise Risk Management.

      Depending on your team assignment, you will have exposure in areas such as project and data analysis, process improvement, requirements gathering, and reporting while supporting teams such as business offices, project management offices, and application teams.

      Examples of intern tasks and projects include:

      • Contributing to analyses in making financial, client, acquisition, or other business decisions
      • Assisting application developers and project managers to develop plans for application upgrades
      • May conduct research, schedule and plan activities, coordinate and prepare deliverables, provide training support
      • Gather data to prepare analyses, reports, and schedules to communicate to management and clients
      • Participating in audits of financial records, operating procedures, and internal controls for assigned business units
      • Assisting in coordinating the development and monitoring of key risk indicators

      Qualifications

      THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

      Minimum Qualifications

      • Be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
      • Academic achievement (preferred GPA of 3.0 or above)

      Preferred Qualifications

      • Rising senior enrolled in a bachelor's degree program (2025 graduation date)
      • Business, Management, Finance, and Information Systems majors are preferred
      • Strong analytical background
      • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and the ability to contribute to a team atmosphere
      • Self-starter, strong business acumen, and results focused
      • Superior communication skills, both oral and written
      • Fluency and aptitude with technology applications
