- Lead efforts to gather requirements, collaborating closely with business stakeholders to translate needs into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with technical teams to ensure accurate implementation of requirements and bridge the gap between business and development teams.
- Interact with internal and external customers to gather system requirements effectively.
- Utilize database knowledge to support data analysis and reporting initiatives, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Utilize Salesforce expertise to draft comprehensive requirements aligned with business objectives and technical capabilities. This includes developing robust test plans and executing thorough system testing to validate functionality.
- Conduct demos and presentations to showcase product features and gather stakeholder feedback for development incorporation.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop plans, monitor progress, and ensure timely milestone delivery.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for technical and business stakeholders, providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Take ownership of the requirements, demonstrating proactive leadership in understanding and prioritizing business needs. Drive initiatives to ensure comprehensive documentation, clear communication, and alignment between stakeholders and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop comprehensive test cases and execute end-to-end testing to validate system functionality, focusing on quality assurance for correct production migration.
- Adapt to changing project needs and priorities, demonstrating flexibility in approach and readiness to pivot strategies as required to meet evolving business objectives and technological constraints.
- Participate in agile sessions to assess, capture, and translate complex business requirements into shared data architecture.
- Participate in business process modeling, working with developers on data mapping and validation, and influencing project direction aligned with data management standards.
- Develop and deliver presentations summarizing key business needs and articulating model options to facilitate model optimization decisions and drive decision-making with key stakeholders.
- Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint tools proficiently to format documents, reports, and presentations effectively, ensuring clarity and professionalism in communication with stakeholders.
- BS or equivalent experience in crucial duties and responsibilities
- 5+ years of work experience in an analysis role in the healthcare industry, preferably with health plans
- Proven experience in gathering, organizing, and documenting technical and non-technical functional requirements interacting with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to analyze, identify, extract, translate, and transform business requirements into data points. Document data requirements, definitions, data dependencies, and relevant business rules through various methods including independent data analysis and group discussions.
- Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees throughout the organization to effectively and professionally achieve results.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills; ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects with overlapping goals and objectives in a fast-paced environment.
- Competency in creating Functional Requirements, File specification, data mapping, and system migrations is preferred.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, including presenting ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.
- Strong track record of building and maintaining solid relationships with internal and external customers and vendors.
- Proven examples of leadership and ability to drive results.
- Self-motivated; adaptable and flexible; responsive and resourceful in a fast-paced business model
- Knowledge of project management and software delivery methodologies is a plus.
Position: Business Analyst
