  Job Description

  The department Business Technology (BT) is “more than IT” because it also focusses on managing the business demand and supplying the necessary technology. The execution of the IT processes, such as development and infrastructure, is mostly outsourced.

  We are looking for an enthusiastic Business Analyst as part of the BT B2C Sales team who can bring our order management and point of sale expertise to the next level. You are considered an ambassador so collaboration and maintaining a healthy relationship with our stakeholders and adjacent teams is key.

  SHARE YOUR TALENTS

  For 40 hrs/wk, you love to give meaning to the words ‘make the connection’ and you will:

  • Contribute to the continuity, continuous development, and innovation of mainly B2C systems
  • Liaise with business key users, identify issues/opportunities, and translate findings into workable solutions
  • Instruct vendors to make necessary changes and inspire them to innovate
  • Help bridge the ‘traditional gap’ between the business and software partners
  • Manage stakeholder expectations. E.g., by aligning plans and ensuring everybody knows what to expect, when, and why
  • Participate in projects (or even lead the smaller projects)
  • Team up with direct colleagues, counterparts in B2C /BT, business analysts and product owners to tackle projects that achieve organizational goals.

  You will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team (staffed with internal and external team members) with dedicated business analysts and test- and support engineers. You will take ownership of changes through their lifecycle and nurture and shape the relationship with our stakeholders from digital, supply chain, finance and retail. First the business analist makes sure all the user stories in the sprints and backlog are well described for both the business and the vendors who need to implement it. During development you are the point of contact for questions and after delivery the you ensure the quality with the help of test engineers. And finally, you will document changes in a way, that they are comprehensive for our key users and can be incorporated in the end user instructions if needed.

  • You have relevant education, 3+ years of experience working in a dynamic environment where technology drives success
  • Experience in retail/unified commerce/order management/POS is a plus
  • You speak and write English fluently
