- Collaborates with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for IT projects and initiatives.
- Coordinates interviews, workshops, and analysis sessions to understand business processes, identify pain points, and define user needs.
- Translates business requirements into clear and actionable specifications, including functional and non-functional requirements, use cases, and user stories.
- Coordinates meetings and workshops with stakeholders to gather requirements and provides updates on proposed solutions.
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, earning trust and credibility as a trusted advisor.
- Collaborates with solution architects, developers, and other stakeholders to review proposed solutions that meet business requirements.
- Assists with solution reviews, prototype demonstrations, and user acceptance testing to ensure alignment with business needs and objectives.
- Reviews input and recommendations on solution alternatives, considering feasibility, cost, and impact on business processes.
- Maintains clear and comprehensive documentation of business requirements, including business process diagrams, requirements specifications, and user documentation.
- Communicates effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex concepts into understandable terms.
- Prepares and supports facilitating presentations, reports, and status updates to project teams, steering committees, and executive leadership as needed.
- Stays abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to business analysis and IT project management.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or related field; master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on gathering and documenting business requirements for IT projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to critically evaluate information and propose creative solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in business analysis techniques and methodologies, such as process modeling, requirements elicitation, and stakeholder management.
- Experience with Agile and/or Waterfall project management methodologies, including participation in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Familiarity with business process management (BPM) tools and techniques, as well as requirements management tools.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.

The Business Analyst gathers and documents business requirements, as well as facilitates communication between business stakeholders and technical teams. Supports successful outcomes for projects and initiatives using analytical skills, business acumen, and effective communication.

The salary for this opportunity ranges from $83,000 to $97,000
The Company complies with all federal/local/state regulations in regard to pay. The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Compensation offered to the successful candidate will be determined by qualifications, prior experience, other job-related factors, and geographic location.
