There's also the possibility of securing a full-time position post-internship upon graduation, making it a holistic and rewarding learning journey.

      Location: On-site in Raleigh, NC. Relocation assistance is NOT provided.

      Duration: 12-week internship beginning June 10, 2024.


      About the Role

      As a Business Analyst Intern, you will support the delivery of strategic IT solutions and services. Your responsibilities will include requirement gathering, analysis, definition, and testing of business applications and functionality.

      Responsibilities

      • Analyzing and documenting basic requirements and business processes.

      • Developing basic systems specifications, process flow, and conversion strategies

      • Creating basic technical and functional user documentation.

      • Adhering to standards when creating and implementing basic solutions in business processes.

      • Maintaining stakeholder expectations and raising appropriate issues to project managers as necessary.

      • Participating in Client Insights Sessions

      • Developing "trusted advisor" relationships with stakeholders through effective communication and efficient, quality execution of projects.

      • Conducting functional testing to validate solution alignment with specifications and ensure seamless integration into business processes.


      Requirements

      • Be a currently enrolled student pursuing a bachelor's or master's in Engineering/Computer Science/Bcom Informatics.

      • Demonstrate understanding of As-Is and To-Be processes.

      • Experience using a recognized development methodology; e.g., Agile, SCRUM, and KANBAN.

      • Show a basic understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC).

      • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

      • Have broad technical understanding across various methodologies, platforms, tools, and languages.
