- Represents the business in a leading role during the definition, planning, testing and implementation of technology and process solutions. Partners with Information Management, Service Providers and WCB management.
- Conducts analysis, makes cost-weighted and risk-aware recommendations for advancing the business through process and system changes.
- Captures and translates business needs into business requirements that drive the development of innovative business process and technology solutions.
- Authors, reviews, approves, and facilitates the creation of deliverables throughout the project lifecycle such as proposals, business cases, use cases, project charters, conceptual designs, process models, detailed designs, and test plans..
- Significant experience and competence using programming languages, including SQL, Python, SAS, .Net, and/or C#.
- Leads, plans, coordinates, and reports progress of Business Acceptance Testing phase.
- Acts as a subject matter expert and provides change management support for system and process changes.
- May act as project manager and/or team lead and apply systematic project management principles, including risk management and mitigation, scope and quality control, time/resource management, gap and impact analysis.
- Translates client reporting requests and assists in report creation, training, analysis, and support to ensure user reporting requirements are met.
- Provides day to day operational support for employer-related business areas. Must be able to perform initial investigation (or resolution) and escalate issues where necessary.
- Post-Secondary degree or diploma in a discipline related to Information Systems such as Business (MIS) or Computing Science is required. CBAP designation, BA Certification and working knowledge of BABOK are also recognized.
- Minimum five to seven years’ experience in a complex business or IT environment. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Highly developed understanding of requirements/information gathering, business and system analysis, Business Process Management (BPM), modeling tools, and process/workflow mapping.
- Technical aptitude is necessary. Experience with programming languages such as Python, SAS, .Net, C#, SQL and reporting tools such as ActiveReports, Cognos, SSRS and PowerBI are necessary; MS SharePoint experience is also desired.
- Experience in reporting, data analytics, business automation, ML/AI and design thinking is desired.
- Experience in Agile methodologies and Scrum is an asset.
- Outstanding conceptual and analytical skills and a strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrates initiative and problem solving skills when presented with a challenging task.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.

Salary: Salary will be evaluated based on candidate’s skills and experience.
Grade 11 Start Rate: $78,409 to Job Rate: $99,817 (includes Market Supplement)
