      Job Summary

      This position is responsible for providing business analysis and guidance to ensure alignment and integration across functional areas in support of divisional Value-Based Care (“VBC”) strategies.

      Incumbent will support teams responsible for implementation of highly complex VBC initiatives.

      This position is responsible for

      - Analyzing, coordinating, and synthesizing requirements.

      - Defining project scope and requirements, translating business requirements into use cases, activity, or flow diagrams, and participating in project management activities.

      - Performing business research to identify gaps between current state and future vision.

      - Conducting interviews with stakeholders and enterprise experts to provide insight based on business research and analysis.

      - Maintaining all documentation on the business project.

      Incumbent may also support the review of various stakeholder, leadership, and/or provider demands and evaluate capabilities and set scope for future delivery meeting stakeholder needs.

      > Hybrid schedule: requires three days per week visibility in the posted HCSC office(s).

      Required Job Qualifications:

      • Bachelor’s degree in Technology or Business Administration with three (3) years’ experience in project management, business process analysis, or operations/systems analysis OR five (5) years’ experience in project management, method analysis, or operations/systems analysis.

      • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.

      • PC proficiency to include but not limited to MS Office.

      • Experience with multiple full lifecycle software projects with strong understanding of how each phase fits into the overall lifecycle.

      • Experience in using requirements management tools, such as IBM’s RequisitePro, RequisiteWeb, or DOORS.

      • Experience with business modeling tools (e.g., Visio) and various methodologies/frameworks like CMMI, RUP, Six Sigma, etc.

      • Solid Facilitation, Presentation and Leadership skills

      Preferred Job Experience:

      • Health insurance or healthcare industry experience

      • Writing System Development requirements

      • Familiarity with business process design and aiding the high-level business process design efforts with assistance of the stakeholders and end users.

      • Project management skills, including strong organization, prioritization, and problem-solving skills; strong oral, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to accept direction and feedback.

      • Plans work and carries out tasks even without detailed instructions and prepares for problems or opportunities in advance.

      • Anticipates how individuals and groups will react to situations and plans accordingly.

      • Analytical and information synthesis skills.

      • Experience with changing assignments and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
