      Location: Wallingford, CT or Atlanta, GA

      This is a hybrid position, with preference for the candidate to be located within 50 mi of our Wallingford, CT or Atlanta, GA Elevance Health office

      Description

      The Business Analyst Intern will be responsible for supporting Elevance Health’s Chief Experience Office in executing challenging projects focused on evolving the consumer experience in the healthcare industry. Our interns are given the opportunity to provide solutions to current business challenges under the guidance of industry professionals and mentors. After completing orientation, interns will stretch their skills to deliver projects aligned to our strategic goals.

      How you will make an impact:

      • Responsible for developing strategies, programs, and solutions based on business priorities, consumer insights, and industry trends that support consumer experience strategy

      • Collaborate across business units to assess and gather requirements though business partner input, consumer insights and competitive intelligence

      • Develop and deliver presentations to key stakeholders

      Minimum Requirements:

      • Ability to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the 12-week internship (May 20- Aug 9) from our Wallingford, CT or Atlanta, GA office

      • Actively pursuing a graduate degree in business administration, project management, business analytics or a related field at an accredited university during internship

      • Students must be authorized to work in the U.S. without future visa sponsorship requirements

      Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

      • Translate strategy into defined tactics, programs/projects, priorities and timelines

      • Understand current state of a business process and conceptualize future state that meets end user needs

      • Monitor, measure, and communicate delivery against business strategic plan and the quality of outcomes

      • Conduct data analysis, present recommendations based on findings, and quantify impact of proposed changes

      • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) required

      • Comfortable learning quickly in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

      • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
