      Commercial is a large but close-knit group. We bring diversity of thought, backgrounds and experience to every Business Unit at Coles Supermarkets, Liquor and Coles Local. We pride ourselves on the partnerships that we build, new ideas we develop and how passionately we work on convenient, healthy solutions for our customers.

      About the role

      In this 18-month fixed term opportunity as our next Business Analyst, you will work closely with the Coles Product Supply team, supply chain, our customers and partners to identify, prioritise, deliver and measure optimisation initiatives.
      You will join the Coles Wholesale Services Optimisation team and report into the Optimisation Manager. This role will form an integral part of this new business, helping us kick off strongly and then optimise this new business over time.

      You will:
      • Optimise and standardise business practices across Coles Wholesale Services
      • Partner with varied internal and external stakeholders to further support optimisation end to end
      • Implement and maintain business processes across Coles Wholesale Services
      • Identify and understand issues/problems and opportunities to deliver tactical and strategic changes
      • Develop models for assessing feasibility of new initiatives
      • Varied data analysis and dashboard creation to support weekly updates and further analysis


      About you and your skills

      This position will enable you to leverage your strong analytical skills and change management skills as part of this pivotal position. You will be able to hone your skills and have genuine impact as part of a dedicated, supportive team!

      You will bring:
      • Demonstrated experience in a commercial function
      • Experience across PowerBI, Power Automate, SQL, Confluence and Jira desired
      • Developed financial acumen and analytical skills
      • Previous communication with key customers and external parties
      • Exposure to stakeholder management and partnering with varied senior stakeholders across the business
      • Clear demonstration of ability to prioritise and deliver commercially viable and practical solutions
      • Highly developed planning, analytical and strategic thinking capabilities
