Job Description

- Partner with business users, traders, and technical teams to gather, analyze, and document requirements for trading and risk management solutions.
- Leverage Python and Power BI to build, automate, and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical tools supporting decision-making.
- Connect and integrate data from ERCOT APIs and other external market sources into internal systems.
- Translate trading business needs into technical specifications and ensure accurate, timely delivery of solutions.
- Support design, testing, and implementation of enhancements to power trading workflows and data pipelines.
- Act as a bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring clarity, alignment, and successful execution of projects.
- Take ownership of assigned initiatives, proactively identifying issues, proposing solutions, and driving progress.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis, automation, and integration.
- Strong experience with Power BI for data visualization and dashboard design.
- Familiarity with APIs, especially ERCOT APIs for market and asset data.
Industry Knowledge:
- Solid understanding of physical power assets and operations in the ERCOT market.
- Knowledge of power trading processes, terminology, and systems.
- 4-10 years of relevant experience

- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to work independently, adapt quickly, and take ownership of tasks.
