Job Description
- Req#: 801283
- Responsible for all financial records and activities for CFA and FCAC including accounts receivable and accounts payable;
- Processes requests to purchase equipment, training materials, printing services and office supplies for CFA/FCAC;
- Support the commission meeting process by printing certificates and having them framed, assisting with travel arrangements for Commission members and FAO staff, ordering all necessary commission meeting materials, coordination of marketing materials, attending meetings, and serving as the onsite meeting liaison; and
- Performs other related duties as assigned by the Executive Director or other members as requested.
- A high school diploma or its equivalent and one year of administrative or office experience;
- 30 semester hours or equivalent, of coursework from an accredited college or university; or
- Any combination of education or experience, as described above, for a total of one year.

POSITION SUMMARY:
This is a full-time position assigned to the Florida Accreditation Office (FAO) reporting to the Executive Director. Members of the FAO serve as staff to both the Commission for Florida Law Enforcement Accreditation (CFA) and the Florida Corrections Accreditation Commission (FCAC). The duties of the position vary widely but focus primarily on the financial activities of the FAO and the two commissions. A successful candidate in this position will possess experience working with business finances, the ability to communicate with a variety of people, the flexibility to handle a variety of duties, and the ability to work as part of a team or independently as required.
SPECIAL NOTE:
This position participates in the CFA and FCAC quarterly commission meetings and is required to travel up to 5%.

BACKGROUND:
