      Project Manager - Business Continuity - West Hills, CA - Monday - Friday - 8:00AM-5:00PM

      Responsible for developing, implementing, and managing regional BCM programs in consultation and coordination with regional leadership and corporate BC team members.

      Manage projects of small to medium complexity or components of larger projects. Tracking project timelines and individual contributions to ensure timely completion of projects.

      Responsibilities

      Business Continuity

      • Establish and maintain regional Business Continuity Management strategies, programs, and procedures in consultation and coordination with regional and corporate teams.
      • Provides subject matter expertise to senior leadership team, managers, and department representatives regarding the development and application of BCM strategies, programs, and procedures.
      • Design and maintain business continuity plans, playbooks, and BIA through collaboration with functional/departmental leaders, to discuss their response and recovery actions before/during/after a crisis.
      • Accountable for the delivery of the annual lifecycle of business continuity activities within the region, including Business Impact Analysis, Threat Assessment, Tabletop Exercise and Communication Exercise events.
      • Participate in facility weakness assessments of the main regional lab buildings, and work with facility leaders to identify and prioritize remediation actions.
      • Work with the corporate business continuity program office in response to audits by providing documentation and proof of rigorous processes.
      • Ensure responsibilities and authorities for relevant deliverables are assigned and communicated within the organization.
      • Responsible to ensure a prompt response during regional business interruption events. Lead Business Impact Event (BIE) response calls or delegate role as needed to ensure effective leadership during a crisis.
      • Provide regional leadership team and BC Program Office with progress reports as required on the status of business continuity planning and deliverables for the region.
      • Provide direction to local site coordinators.
      • Facilitate on time, on quality and on budget execution of BCP initiatives at the local level.
      • Coordinate with Corporate and regional BCM team on the development, application, and maintenance of 3rd party BCM tools and software.
      • Develop training programs and lead training efforts related to BCM.

      Project Management

      • Manage projects of small to medium complexity or components of larger projects.
      • Partner with project subject matter experts and individual contributors to develop goals, timelines, and deliverables.
      • Develop and execute project plans in coordination with stakeholders.
      • Track project and individual contributor performance (e.g., time, deliverables, quality, etc.).

      Qualifications

      QUALIFICATIONS

      Required Work Experience:

      • Experience collaborating with project stakeholders and subject matter experts to set project goals and timelines.
      • Certified Project Management Professional with 3+ years experience
      • Certified Business Continuity Professional with 3+ years experience

      Preferred Work Experience:

      • Healthcare industry experience or transferrable skills
      • Certified Project Management Professional with 5+ years experience
      • Certified Business Continuity Professional with 5+ years experience
      • Business Continuity Planning, Disaster Recovery, risk assessment, or similar experience
      • Intermediate knowledge of key business continuity software such as Assurance, Everbridge

      Physical and Mental Requirements:

      • Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and team facilitation skills
      • Demonstrated strategic business acumen.

      Knowledge:

      • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent work experience.

      Skills:

      • Proficiency in MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SmartSheets.
      • Ability to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple detail-oriented tasks.
      • Ability to work in a complex, dynamic, and fast-paced environment with strong project management skills that include prioritizing tasks, balancing workload between multiple projects, anticipating next steps, and adapting to change.
      • Ability to influence people and change at various levels in the organization.

      Licenses/Certifications:

      • Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP)
      • Certified Project Manager (CPM)
