      BUSINESS CONTROLLER, FINANCIAL PLANNING & ANALYTICS

      The Business Controller, Financial Planning & Analytics (FP&A) who supports our Flexible Packaging segment finance team & business units in driving the company to their specific strategic goals and aspirations. The Business Controller, FP&A will play an active role to lead financial planning and analysis processes and lead a small team (1 FTE). Reporting into the Global Head of Business Control, you will act as a business partner to the entire finance function across all Huhtamaki units as well as to senior members of Group Finance and segment leadership teams.

      We offer remote and flexible working and therefore you can be located in any of our Huhtamaki locations in Europe.

      KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

      • Act as business partner to global Head of Business Control & VP Finance

      • Lead the financial planning and analysis processes

      • Conduct analytics on the entire P&L and other financial matrix
        providing analysis in decision-making in all matters operational, financial, and strategic

      • Drive the monthly reporting process towards group and units

      • Prepare monthly report to CEO and related board material and supports the preparation of quarterly review, budget and strategy materials for CEO and Board

      • Transform the global company strategy, into a long-range plan with annual operating and capital budgets

      • Forecast operating and profitability performance and set annual targets for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

      • Manage and improve segment cost process

      • Set up a meaningful information system to enhance analyzing and visibility across the finance team

      • Contribute to and develop new ideas to optimize structures and processes

      • Proactively take on responsibility in the allocated areas of work

      • Coach units to continuously improve business planning

      • Drive global business/finance development projects as defined

      KEY SUCCESS FACTORS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

      • At least 5 years of experience of working in financial roles in a global company, with direct specialism of financial planning and analysis

      • Experience from manufacturing industry is highly appreciated

      • University degree or equivalent in Finance or Business Administration, or equivalent

      • Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills across global teams

      • Analytical and creative approach to the development and implementation of new ideas and concepts

      • Motivated and structured approach to work: familiarity with all common business support tools (Excel, powerpoint, ERP)

      • Flexibility, willingness and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with simultaneous work assignments

      • Motivated to learn, develop self professionally, and take on responsibility in a proactive manner

      • A sense of urgency and an ability to work under pressure

      • High level of social competence in both individual and team work

      • Good presentation and communication skills with fluency in business English
