- Ensure reports of all monthly financial information.
- Provide accurate financial data and analysis on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis.
- Make recommendations for efficiency improvement and cost reduction.
- Develop and monitor activities to support an annual budget schedule and quarterly forecast deliverables for both P&L and Balance Sheet and cash flow generation.
- Provide direction to the business leaders for preparing both the budget and forecasts, reviewing data for accuracy, consistency, and reasonableness.
- Prepare required corporate reports
- Conduct financial analysis of forecast to actual variances and provide feedback to Financial and Business Leaders.
- Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting process and ensure the data is accurate and completed.
- Prepare for and participate in internal audits.
- Analyze variations of actual results against budgeted and prior period results.
- Review balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis.
- BA/BS in Accounting
- CPA and/or MBA Preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting for a publicly traded manufacturing company, overseeing financial accounting, inventory/cost accounting, financial forecasting and reporting.
- An in-depth understanding of accounting principles, procedures and controls on manual and automated systems, within established systems.
- Demonstrate an understanding of GAAP, SOX and SEC regulations.
- Experience with P&L management and all cash flow and balance sheet implications, including a demonstrated ability to assess risks and opportunities within complex business situations.
- Strong process improvement background.
- Experience with Percentage of Completion (New Revenue Recognition Standard ASC606)
- Financial ERP knowledge. Preference to candidates with experience with Infor SyteLine and OneStream.
- Advanced experience with MS Excel.
- Demonstrated organizational abilities, works well independently and has project management expertise.
- The estimated annual salary range for this role is $95,000 - $115,000 annually. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Starting salary will vary by location, qualifications, and prior experience.

- This position is remote and would involve travel to Kingston, NY and you should reside within a few hours of Kingston, NY
