- Work with business center staff to perform day-to-day business functions including, but not limited to, disbursements, account maintenance and reconciliation, procurement, fund transfers, and purchasing card transactions.
- Provide specialized or general analysis support of accounting functions mainly in Accounts Payable, Payroll, and distribution of costs to grants and general budgets.
- Reconcile and prepare reports on budgeted funding related to college initiatives.
- Review monthly analytical reports of university account expenditures and prepare any corrections needed to update financial reports.
- PCard reconciler for college.
- Monitor gift accounts, endowments and scholarships.
- Liaison with University of Arizona Foundation, attend meetings and trainings.
- Responsible for financial aid budget planning.
- Assist with budgetary review of over $200K in student funding.
- Work with faculty committee and college advising team on student awards/scholarship process.
- Serve as backup pre-award specialist, assist with preparation of grant proposals in Uaccess Research.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Strong Analytical Skills.
- Proficient in Excel and financial software or systems.
- Communication skills and being able to work/collaborate with Faculty community, advising teams, and other staff.
- 1 year of relevant work experience may be required.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through experience required.
- Experience with Accounting functions, financial management, and/or business operations.
- Experience in Reconciliation, Procurement, and Purchase Card transactions.
- Experience with scholarships/student award process.

The successful candidate will provide business support to Department Heads, Directors, Principle Investigators and students by performing finance, budgeting, and scholarship transactions.
They will apply general business theory and principles in the daily operations of the College of Information Science business center.
