      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Identify, qualify, and develop new sales opportunities with state and local regulatory boards and agencies
      - Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through proposal, negotiation, and contract execution
      - Build trusted relationships with senior-level decision-makers (CIOs, CTOs, Executive Directors)
      - Develop compelling proposals and presentations aligned to client requirements
      - Maintain accurate pipeline and sales activities in CRM (Salesforce) while consistently meeting sales targets

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Information Systems, or related field
      - 3-5 years of direct enterprise software/SaaS sales experience, preferably with state or public sector clients
      - Proven success managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
      - Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in RFP responses and executive presentations
      - Ability to generate and close new business with a hunter mentality

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience selling regulatory licensing, case management, or government SaaS solutions
      - Familiarity with the competitive landscape and government procurement processes
      - Knowledge of compliance frameworks relevant to the industry
      - Track record of closing deals of $250k+ ARR or multi-year SaaS contracts
