SAIC is offering internship opportunities for college students committed to a major in business or related fields. Internships will provide hands-on experience in business development and business analytics within the Enterprise Business Development organization. Selected candidates will support various aspects of business analytics and forecasting, proposal preparation, competitive intelligence, and the development of case studies and white papers. Positions offers mentorship, structured training, and exposure to leadership talent, preparing interns for entry-level roles in business development or business analytics.

Business Development Intern responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

· Conduct research on the market landscape for Government services sales initiatives, including monitoring, tracking, and analyzing market trends, opportunities, and competitors.

· Performs data analyses and assists with graphic design for computer assets.

· Assist in performing analysis on pipeline of sales opportunities, develop award forecasts, and submit projections under the supervision of a business analytics specialist.

· Assist business development teams with account and customer engagement activities, creating content, data entry and coordinating meetings.

· Collaborate with senior SAIC sales leadership, solutions architects, program managers, proposal managers, and others to win new business.

· Review internal sales tools to ensure sales data remains accurate for reporting to leadership.

· Assist in generating Procurement Action Requests and Purchase Requisitions.

· Support in tracking business development spending versus budget, support financial reporting and preparing financial statements.

Qualifications

Requirements:

· High school graduate with at least two years of college education completed, majoring in Business, Liberal Arts, Graphic Design, Data Analytics, Marketing, Finance, Computer Science, IT, Cyber Security, Engineering, Aerospace, AI/ML, or related technical field.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

· Strong interpersonal, communication, and superior writing skills.

· U.S. citizenship.

Desired Qualifications:

· Proficiency in advanced features of Microsoft Excel, such as pivot tables and formulas.

· Familiarity or programming experience in PowerBI and data science.

· Familiarity with basic statistical methods.

· Internships may be virtual or a hybrid; preference for candidates located in the Eastern Time Zone.

· Flexible, scheduled hours, approximately 40 hours per week.
