      Objective / Purpose

      The Business Director’s primary mission is to cultivate and sustain strong relationships with Entec's suppliers and provide day-to-day oversight, guidance, and development to the Business Managers team.

      Areas of Responsibility

      Performance in this role is measured by the achievement of the following objectives:

      • Goal Setting & Growth
        • Establish and drive goals that align with our suppliers’ strategic growth targets.

      • Team Leadership & Guidance
        • Mentor Business Managers on inventory optimization, supplier negotiations, and collaboration with the sales team to exceed growth metrics.

      • Market Intelligence & Innovation
        • Research emerging industry trends and recommend new offerings that address evolving customer needs.

      • Operational Assessment & Improvement
        • Evaluate marketing, sales, supplier, and vendor processes; develop and implement enhancements.

      • Strategic Partnerships
        • Forge and manage partnerships to expand Entec's business volume and market presence.

      • Ad Hoc Responsibilities
        • Perform related duties as required to support organizational objectives.

        • Keen insight into customer requirements and the ability to translate needs into solutions.

        • Solid understanding of cross-functional business operations.

      8. Leadership & Development

        • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams; balance guidance with autonomy tailored to individual skill levels.
