Job Description

- Assisting the BE Managers and leads in coordinating, preparing, and implementing strategic initiatives across the business
- Building relationships with relevant stakeholders across the business to assist in data collection and analysis
- Analyzing project findings to identify themes and develop proposals and deliverables
- Tracking and reporting project status, cost, and value delivery
- Providing detailed data analysis on key project performance indicators and project milestones
- Making finance, process and business recommendations to Project Leads based on data analysis
- Scheduling and participating in stakeholder engagements, including design working sessions
- Preparing and delivering project communications, partnering with Corporate Communications or Organizational Change Management as required
- Utilizing MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel to develop high quality, visually appealing work products
- Executing reporting and follow-up activities to measure and address effectiveness and change adoption
- Managing project templates and sites
- Managing and developing expertise in tools to support business process management, collaboration, planning, productivity, communication, and training
- Actively learning new areas of the business and their associated processes
- This role may require some travel, not to exceed 25%
- At least 5 years of experience implementing change for large companies, with at least 1 year of experience in the upstream energy industry; consulting experience is highly desired along with:
- Project management
- Workshop facilitation
- Business process analysis and optimization
- Organizational change management
- Communications
- An undergraduate degree from a competitive four-year college or university
- Understanding of the upstream oil and gas value chain
- Knowledge of design thinking, systems thinking, human-centered design, and customer-centric principles
- Adept in Microsoft products including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams and SharePoint
- Experience in analyzing complex processes and multi-faceted problems, and developing solutions to simplify and streamline
- Demonstrated ability to adapt communications, interpersonal style and work product for different situations and audiences
- Ability to analyze information, identify themes and distill information for various audiences
- Capability to prioritize effectively and work quickly and decisively with multiple initiatives happening in parallel
- Ability to identify what needs to be done and proactively address needs, in some cases with limited oversight or direction
- Strong attention to detail

Specific Responsibilities
The Business Excellence Analyst will be a member of Apache’s Business Excellence (BE) team, reporting to the Continuous Improvement Manager. The BE group is responsible for delivering a portfolio of strategic transformation and continuous improvement projects across the company, and act as internal consultants, adapting to the needs of the company as priorities change.
