- Participate in a variety of assigned and ongoing business operations to ensure success in meeting business goals and objectives.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement by conducting root cause testing of all compliance and business metrics.
- Determine areas of strength or Business Execution opportunity within defined scope of work
- Review and research strategies and action plans to establish effective processes while meeting performance metrics and policy expectations.
- Utilize independent judgment to guide moderate risk deliverables.
- Present recommendations to develop, implement, and monitor strategic approaches, effectiveness of support function, and business performance improvement opportunities for managing risks of the business.
- Exercise independent judgment and provide guidance in diverse support functions and operations for a single business group within a line of business.
- Collaborate and consult with leaders and executive management.
- Provide work direction to less experienced Strategy and Execution staff.
- 2+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
- 2 + years of vendor management experience including hardware, software, or professional services.
- 2+ years of third-party risk management experience
- 1+ years of Merchant Services or transferrable Financial Services Experience
- Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members.
- Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment.
- Experience engaging in data analysis, reporting and analysis, reporting and analytics using Tableau, Power BI, Excel, SQL, or Macros
- Ability to generate clear and concise documentation, with an ability to tailor the message and level of detail to the target audience.
- Knowledge and understanding of project management principles: coordinating, planning, and executing through all phases.
- Relationship Management Experience
- Ability to identify risk factors and ensure enactment of appropriate controls.
- This position offers a hybrid work schedule of 3 days in office & 2 days remote.

Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Execution Consultant on the Merchant Services Vendor Management Team as a part of the Card and Merchant Services Organization.
The Business Execution Consultant will serve as a resource to support the centralized Wells Fargo Merchant Service Vendor Management Program. This program will provide consistency across all third-party program requirements, and management of all current and new vendors that support Wells Fargo Merchant Services.
