      Job Title : Business Functional Analyst – Regulatory Reporting

      Location : Pune

      Role Description

      This role is Functional Analyst responsible for Architecting and Design software applications. The candidate is expected to work closely with Team Leads or Software Development Managers and other key stake holders to ensure good quality, maintainable, scalable and high performing software applications are delivered to users. The candidate should be coming from a strong technological background. Should be hands on and be able to work independently requiring minimal technical/tool guidance. Should be able to technically guide and mentor junior resources in the team. Work closely with team members and vendor team to design and develop software. Should have good communication skill and strong positive outlook.

      Role will be responsible to gather requirements, analyse the requirement and prepare functional technical design document and work closely with development team to build critical components on regulatory reporting platform and ensuring that their implementation aligns with our end state architecture. This person will also be responsible to make sure development team to align with business needs and as well as delivering Quality software. This is a hands-on role and will require experience in test driven development.

      Your Key Responsibilities

      This role is Business Functional Analyst responsible for functional design of applications. The candidate is expected to work closely with Technical Leads or Software Development Managers and other key stake holders to ensure good quality, maintainable, scalable and high performing software applications are delivered to users. The candidate should be coming from a strong technological background. Should be hands on and be able to work independently requiring minimal technical/tool guidance. Should be able to technically guide and mentor junior resources in the team. Work closely with team members and vendor team to design and develop software. Should have good communication skill and strong positive outlook. The role is expected to support functional queries coming from Business, operations or technical team and expected to play the role of SME also. Other key responsibilities.

      • Functional solution design
      • Communication with stakeholders
      • Articulate issues and risks to management in timely manner
      • Train other team members functionally to bring them up to speed
      • Analyse software defects and suggest a fix
      • Work closely with Development and Quality Assurance teams
      • SME for Business
      • Support SL3 queries

      Your skills and experience

      Professional Requirements:

      • Experience/Understanding of regulations such as Volcker, MIFID, SFTR, Dod Frank, CSDR etc
      • Experience in working with capital markets specially with cash and derivatives. Experience in working with Asset classes like Equities, FX, Credit, Commodity, OTC and Listed Derivates.
      • Experience in securities and derivatives trade lifecycle/payments
      • Experience in developing distributed, high-throughput, highly available scalable systems
      • Experience gathering basic performance measures of applications
      • Ability to align functional solution to the target architecture
      • Ability to focus and prioritize in a high-pressure environment
      • Extensive experience of formal business & functional process analysis
      • Embraces using unit/integration testing as a standard development practice
      • Experience in agile software development
      • Strong people skills and Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
      • Be self-directed, pro-active, results-driven and able to work in a diverse global team


      Education (Recommended):

      • Degree in Finance, Computer Science or Software Engineering or equivalent computer degree from an accredited college or university (or equivalent diploma/work experience)
      • Experience : 8-12 Years of relevant experience with similar organization
