      General Summary

      Responsible for building relationships between business units, Information Technology Services, and application development/support teams. This position serves as the conduit between the business units, Information Technology Services, internal/external stakeholders, and support Information Technology Services. The Business Intelligence Analyst(BIA) understands current business and system processes. The BIA can develop/document business user requirements, create process flows, and create workflows as needed.

      Provide world class customer service by capturing and being responsive to the voice of the customer (internal or external, including donors for select positions) through multiple feedback channels in order to resolve issues and drive satisfaction in accordance with the BBG customer engagement, feedback, and complaint processes.

      It is essential that the incumbent have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years old with a good driving record to meet organization driving standards.

      Major Duties and Responsibilities

      Essential Tasks

      Under general supervision elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, group requirements gathering sessions, business process descriptions, business analysis, and business workflow analysis in order to translate them into system/user requirements to meet business needs.

      Support performance improvement and business excellence initiatives by collecting data, analyzing organizational needs, identifying performance improvement opportunities, evaluating effectiveness, and making recommendations.

      Maintain strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), regulatory requirements, and all company policies.

      Provide guidance to Lean Six Sigma Teams through process improvement stages.

      Perform tight management of the triple constraint (scope, time, and cost) while maintaining the highest quality standards.

      Enact quality control procedures to resolve production problems or minimize costs.

      Manage multiple small to large scale projects/requirements gathering efforts in accordance with Project Managements Office methodology.

      Perform routine data entry, analysis, and prepare reports that measure and monitor operational performance.

      Develop requirements specifications according to standard templates, using natural language. Coordinate/perform feasibility and cost/benefit analysis as it relates to performance improvement projects. Lead the execution of key projects within various departments to deliver financial targets.

      Manage and maintain requirements documentation throughout the development process.

      Create and maintain requirements traceability matrix (RTM). Create final requirements documentation with linkage to the RTM.

      Provide input to business Information Technology Services in the development of test cases for UAT if needed. Drive continuous improvement utilizing LSS tools & methodologies.

      May perform duties as designated by the Support Services Department orPMO team as needed or in the event of his/her absence.

      Assist Organizational Units Information Technology Services/Departments in developing and implementing improvement plans that are aligned with strategic goals.

      Education

      Requires a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with major course work relative to the field of assignment. The required major is Business, Computer Science, or Information Technology.

      Licenses and/or Certifications

      Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Preferred

      Certified Business Intelligence Professional Preferred Information Technology Infrastructure Library 4 (ITIL 4) Preferred Valid United States Driver’s License

      Experience

      Requires two or more years of creating business requirements and process documentation experience. Minimum of two years' experience with the Microsoft Office suite and MS Visio.

      Minimum of two or more years of technical writing experience, to include writing working knowledge of various SDLC methodologies.

      Knowledge

      Must maintain knowledge of and perform according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and policies.

      Must have knowledge of requirements elicitation methods and processes.

      Must have knowledge of various requirement types and how they are documented.

      Knowledge of information technology service management concepts and methodologies, business process analysis and reengineering, and project management processes and methodologies.

      Must have previous work experience with Microsoft Office, to include Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint.

      Must have knowledge of system design and development processes and methodologies relative to requirements management.

      Working Environment

      Works in well-lighted, air-conditioned and heated vehicle or office environments, but may work in confined spaces and non-climate controlled conditions. May be exposed to electrical and chemical hazards and other conditions common to an office environment. May be required to work at any time of the day, evening or night during the week or weekend to include being on-call. Occasional out of town and overnight stays required.

      Ability to use personal motor vehicle for company business required. Occupational Exposure Assignment - Category II

      Physical Requirements

      Must be able to drive on behalf of the organization. Will sit, stand, walk, and bend during working hours.

      Requires manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Required to lift and carry relatively light materials.

      Requires normal or corrected vision and hearing corrected to a normal range.
