- Creates and distributes standard and ad-hoc reports based on functional needs, including daily, monthly and quarterly reports related from the clinical operations, quality, and education divisions.
- Create, maintain, and update data visualization (Tableau) of data reports/analysis on ad-hoc and recurring data requests.
- Extracts, combine, and analyze data from multiple, existing data warehouses/data marts.
- Liaisons with NYP Analytics for perioperative metrics alignment as needed.
- Effectively communicates with stakeholders related to data extraction and data analysis projects.
- Performs other related duties as directed.

Position Summary
Provides analytical support and data reporting in the Center for Perioperative Outcomes for the various divisions within the Department of Anesthesiology.
Job Responsibilities
Education
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Approximately 2 years of experience with data analysis of healthcare data
- Tableau experience required
- R/Python experience preferred
- Experience with electronic health records (EHRs), preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to pay close attention to detail.
- Ability to create meaningful presentations and reports utilizing a variety of raw data.
- Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office Suite and database applications, especially MS Excel.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated listening skills and ability to document meeting notes when needed.
