      Job Description:

      Milwaukee Tool is continuing to expand, and as the Supply Chain gets faster and more data-driven, we are seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to architect and build solutions that support the exciting business growth. We want Business Intelligence Analysts that are detailed-oriented, have an entrepreneurial attitude, and won't allow the status-quo to impede on innovation.

      Duties and Responsibilities

      • Leveraging both new and existing technologies to create reports, dashboards, scorecards, and visualizations that clearly measure KPIs
      • Creating data mining architectures/models/protocols, reporting, and data analysis methodologies to identify operations improvements and simulate the impact of proposals
      • Applying mathematical, statistical, and economic techniques primarily supporting our Procurement team. Helping to improve direct and indirect spend analysis, payment terms analysis, purchase price variance, and understanding commodity trends.
      • Performing complex analytics and statistical modelling on large data sets to optimize supply chain operations workflow, reduce costs, and increase efficiency
      • Working with the end users to understand requirements, formulate use cases, and translate needs into effective technical solutions
      • Interacting with multiple business units and cross-functional teams to drive consistency, standardization, and data governance across the enterprise

      Education and Experience Requirements

      • Bachelor's Degree; with specializations in Analytics/Data Science, Supply Chain/Operations, Mathematics, or Statistics/Economics preferred.
      • Minimum 1 year of full-time experience, post-graduation
      • Advanced-level knowledge of SQL Server and relational data
      • Expertise applying data to solve business problems in supply and demand planning, inventory and distribution, procurement, sales and marketing, and finance
      • Experience working with Data Warehouses, Data Visualization techniques, & BI Development tools; Databricks and/or Azure-related technologies preferred.
      • Business Acumen and understanding of basic data flow in a manufacturing business, including ERP/MRP/Order Mgmt platforms (Oracle, MS Dynamics, SAP, etc)
      • Experience navigating large volumes of data, with experience in "big data", predictive analytics, IoT, artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning (ML).
      • Experience in Project Management or Lean/Continuous Improvement roles; Six Sigma Certification preferred
