      Job summary

      The NEMS Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst will play a key role in transforming data into actionable insights. Supporting our strategic direction to be a data rich organisation, allowing data and information to drive our business decisions.

      This position involves developing and maintaining structured data processes to monitor and evaluate performance against service agreements and contractual obligations, ensuring the accurate measurement, monitoring and submission of key performance indicators (KPIs).

      The post holder will be responsible for developing and managing data collection, analysis, and reporting processes. Designing and delivering dashboards using Power BI while providing vital business intelligence that supports decision-making processes aimed at improving organisational performance and patient care.

      The Analyst will work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to identify reporting gaps, identify areas of improvement, and help drive corrective actions to meet target

      Main duties of the job

      Data Collection, Analysis and Reporting: Develop and implement structured data collection processes to support business intelligence and reporting needs.

      Provide timely and accurate reports on key performance indicator (KPIs) metrics.

      Produce routine and ad-hoc performance reports for internal and external stakeholders to support contract and KPI compliance.

      Design and develop dashboards using Power BI SQL Database

      Management & Querying:

      Write, optimize, and execute complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from relational databases.

      Design and implement improvement measures and reporting mechanisms to capture and analyse data and support organisational decision-making.

      Support colleagues and project teams in the provision of collecting, reporting, and analysing data.

      Trend Analysis & Forecasting:

      Analyse historical data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, and assist in developing forecasts and predictive models where appropriate.

      Documentation:

      Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data sources, metrics, reports, and dashboards.
