What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Act as the primary liaison between Information Technology department, Business Intelligence Team, and the Water Quality Division
- Support key business processes and applications, recommending business process redesign where applicable
- Identify reporting needs, define reporting requirements, design reports, and write the code required to deliver the report
- Query multiple data sources using SQL, develop ETLs, and produce analysis using data analysis and visualization tools
- Analyze data, provide insights and recommendations for organizational planning and operations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management, or related field
- 5 years of experience in a business intelligence or data analysis role
- Knowledge of SQL query language and other database applications
- Skill in providing technical assistance to business partners and performing analytic functions
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing and collaborate with IT/BI and program staff
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Business Intelligence and analytical applications such as Tableau, Power BI, SQL Server Management Studio, Visual Studio
