Overview

The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for the general operations of NAH Business Intelligence, the Report Development Lifecycle, and the implementation of projects to enhance the capabilities and efficiency of NAH system processes. S/he will serve as an escalation point and the primary point of contact for any high-profile requests, with a potentially significant impact on the organization.Responsibilities
Program Management* Develops programs in partnership with key organizational leaders to mature the organization's delivery of actionable information around primary business units (e.g., Inpatient/Acute Care, Outpatient/Ambulatory, Finance/Rev Cycle, etc.).* Participates in the development of the organization's Business Intelligence strategy and operational capabilities.* Collaborates with senior-level stakeholders, translating clinical/business requirements into Data Models that provide actionable information and outcome validation.* Contributes to the evaluation and recommendation of new source data systems.* Demonstrates ability to manage both the governance of day-to-day operations and implementation of special projects. Data Integrity* Responsible for coordinating Business Intelligence resources in the day-to-day fulfillment of data/report requests.* Collaborates with Business Intelligence team members to incorporate new data sources into the data warehouse(s).* Demonstrates knowledge of data warehouse and business intelligence best practices. Education* Champion the development of Business Information and Intelligence Analysts, as well as business analysts distributed throughout the organization.* Advance the maturity of analytics and data management throughout the organization. Compliance/Safety* Responsible for reporting any safety-related incident in a timely fashion through the Midas/RDE tool; attends all safety-related training programs; performs work in a safe manner; monitors work environment for possible safety issues and ensures others are also performing work in a safe manner.* Stays current and complies with state and federal regulations/statutes and company policies that impact the employee's area of responsibility.* If required for the position, ensures all certifications and/or licenses are up-to-date and valid prior to expiration dates.* Completes all company mandatory modules and required job-specific training in the specified time frame.Qualifications
EducationHigh School Diploma or GED and 15+ years of relevant experience- RequiredBachelor’s Degree and 10+ years of relevant experience- RequiredMaster’s Degree and 8+ years of relevant experience- Preferred Certification & LicensuresRelevant certifications, with a focus on SAP Business Objects, Tableau, and Database Technologies- PreferredSix Sigma/Lean certification- Preferred ExperienceHighly experienced in Data Management and Report Development lifecycles, with a demonstrated mastery of Data Analysis methods and concept- RequiredProven professional with Database and Data Model architecture and design- RequiredExtensive healthcare industry experience (e.g., clinical quality, performance/productivity, finance, revenue cycle, IT, strategic development, etc.), preferrably with experience crossing multiple domains- RequiredExperience in Matrix organizations and leadership structures, preferably with time spent in functional leadership roles- RequiredHealthcare is a rapidly changing environment and technology is integrated into almost all aspects of patient care. Computers and other electronic devices are utilized across the organization and throughout each department. Colleagues must have an understanding of computers, and competence in using computers and basic software programs.About the company
