      The Business Intelligence Associate Analyst partners with other departments within Commonwealth Credit Union to develop dynamic reports and dashboards, enhancing business efficiency and insights into member behaviors. They extract and mine data from various sources to create visually appealing graphics and visualizations for strategic decision-making. This role involves ensuring data quality, providing insights and analysis to aid in business decisions to meet the credit union's objectives.

      The duties and responsibilities of a Business Intelligence Associate Analyst include, but are not limited to:

      • Performing data analysis to identify trends, patterns and anomalies for ad-hoc requests.
      • Providing insights and recommendations to Business Intelligence supervisor that contributes to achieving credit union strategic goals and long-term objectives.
      • Analyzing internal and external credit union systems for data quality and integrity, researching and communicating inconsistencies to Data Analytics team, providing support for implementing solutions as needed.
      • Effectively utilizing software applications such as desktop tools, spreadsheets, report writing software, or graphical presentation tools to assemble and format data and reports in a visually compelling, easy-to-understand, usable format.
      • Assisting in presenting findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
      • Assisting with the development and creation of individual reports, ad-hoc queries, and report creation for project teams, leaders and decision makers in a timely manner.
      • Validating reports for accuracy and completeness, cross-referencing with other sources as needed.
      • Complying with Data Governance policies and procedures, as well as incorporating approved business decisions into reports and analysis.

      • Effectively utilizing time to complete tasks and projects independently.

      Qualifications

      Education

      Preferred

      Bachelors

      Experience

      Required 2 years

      Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience with complex formulas and pivot tables.

      Preferred

      Performing data analysis and developing reporting deliverables, preferred.

      Experience using business intelligence and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), preferred.

      Experience with relational databases and SQL, preferred.
