Job Description

- Currently enrolled in a 4-year Business Administration, Commerce or Engineering degree program in any discipline.
- 0-2 years’ experience.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, openness to learning.
- Skilled in organizing and managing a variety of tasks with varying priorities and is a fast learner and effective problem solver.
- Data Engineering: Develop and maintain scalable data sources that serve as the “source of truth” for the organization, ensuring they can be effectively utilized and repurposed across various business functions.
- Data Analysis & Visualization: Design and implement dashboards that align with business requirements and facilitate data-driven decision-making.
- Data Governance: Support and uphold data governance policies across all departments to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Collaboration & Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues in executing data analytics projects for solutioning business problems, adhering to industry best practices and standards.
As a co-op student on the Business Intelligence and Analytics team, you will be focused on the transformation, visualization, and application of data analytics. Using data, you will collaborate with stakeholders throughout the organization to build and enhance reporting and dashboards that advise on the best courses of action to improve operational quality and efficiency. This cross-functional role is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure and provide valuable insights into many areas of the ship building business.
