Increase employee's skills and knowledge on the job through the facilitation and development of a variety of specialized training programs that support the needs of assigned business
Actively involved in training design and preparing/enhancing training programs and/or materials
Consults with managers to evaluate training and development needs of business employees and makes recommendations for improving effectiveness of programs
Develop and/or complete and distribute reports for management; complete analyses and develop subsequent recommendations based the reports
Serve in a lead role in Customer Asset Management (CAM) projects and initiatives, such as updates to existing products and new product implementations, as appropriate
Serve as mentor and provide guidance and training less experienced CAM Technical Specialists
Adhere to applicable compliance/operational risk controls in accordance with Company or regulatory standards and policies
Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the M&T Bank brand
Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable
Complete other related duties as assigned
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 1 year related business line, facilitation, and/or teaching experience, OR
In lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 5 years higher education and/or work experience including a minimum of 1 year related business line, facilitation, and/or teaching experience
Mortgage, business banking, or consumer banking experience is a plus
Strong communication and public speaking skills
Presentation skills
Experience working with Webex, Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
Troubleshooting experience to assist new hires
Interactive and engaging audience while training
Creative solutions/problem solving
Adaptable - team player
Overview:
Design, develop, implement, and manage pro-active training programs in support of the Customer Asset Management line of business.

This is a hybrid, Monday-Friday position (8:00am-4:30pm), that requires coming into the office at least 2 days per week. Our office is located at 475 Crosspoint Parkway, Getzville, NY 14068. Although this is a hybrid role, it is also additional coverage for our more junior Business Line Trainers. In the event that someone calls out there is an expectation that this Business Line Trainer may have to come in to cover a class even on a day they were originally scheduled to work from home.
M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $24.04 - $38.46 Hourly (USD). The successful candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.Location
