This role will support ORU Business Operations and the Site Affairs Team. Coordinating communications, planning and execution of colleague engagement activities and daily operations, monitor deliverables and special projects.
You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including supporting the set-up for and logistics for team meetings, Research Forums and town halls, reserving conference rooms, ensuring proper set-up and catering when appropriate, coordinating with administrative support colleagues across the organization, and offering ideas and support for activities that enhance the workplace experience. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity to gain exposure across Pfizer oncology.
Supports a breadth of operational activities and is accountable for a wide variety of deliverables and special projects.
In collaboration with Site Affairs and Business Operations, drives day-to-day operations and logistics for key interactions, meetings, and events with other groups in Pfizer Oncology, PRD, and company-wide.
Works proactively with ORU colleagues to ensure robust connectivity, planning and partnerships.
Participates in ad hoc workstreams and special projects as needed.
Supports and updates distribution lists.
Coordinates with administrative support to assist when leader(s) are traveling to Bothell/La Jolla offices including securing office space, site access and onsite support as needed
Supports the execution of colleague events
Provides coordination and administrative support for ad hoc projects as requested
Perform other functions and duties, as required/assigned
Performs research necessary to effectively carry out job responsibilities
Partner to provide support as needed to all ORU colleagues at the Bothell site, as well as visiting colleagues from other Research sites and NYHQ.
High school diploma required and 6+ years of relevant experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and other features
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 collaboration tools, including Teams messaging, meetings and channels
Ability to work with and have a high level of sensitivity to confidential documents and information
Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal skills at a global, cross-line level
Superior attention to detail
Fast learner, able to set and juggle priorities by handling multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong sense of urgency and efficiency in completing work
Exemplary time management, organization, and prioritization skills
Must be able to maintain composure under pressure and manage unforeseen situations
Excellent judgment, problem resolution and decision-making skills
Work autonomously and thrive in a fast-paced environment
College degree preferred
Experience using applications such as concur, WebEx and Ariba
Ability to take direction and work with minimal oversight
Ability to work on a computer and sit for long periods of time
