      *NOTE: This is an onsite position in West Valley City, Utah, USA

      $70,000 - $78,000.00 PER YEAR

      GENERAL PURPOSE

      The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Director of Analytics with various projects related to data management, report creation, and data analysis. This position will collaborate with the various departments at Harmons to provide insights related to operations for internal and customer needs.

      ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Ability to work independently
      • Participates and is involved in projects that support the needs of various departments
      • Works with the members of the team to identify solutions
      • Perform tasks that accomplish individual and team goals
      • Gains knowledge of the department's functions
      • Determines, implements, and evaluates business metrics to meet ongoing organizational and customer information needs
      • Identifies new sources of data to improve information collection, analysis, and statistical reporting
      • Evaluates information critically from multiple sources and indicates quality of final analysis, resolving data integrity issues
      • Identify customer insights including demographics, basket analysis, and loyalty program
      • Provides reports that interpret user data and support business needs
      • Is a positive influence who implements and promotes change
      • Completes assigned tasks efficiently and in a timely manner
      • Assists as needed to ensure the success of the company as a whole
      • Follows established departmental and store policies and procedures
      • Ability to accept constructive review and be accountable for one’s own success
      • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

      TRAINING & QUALIFICATIONS:

      • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or technical field such as Business Analytics, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, etc. is preferred
      • 1-2 years of business or data analysis experience is preferred
      • Experience with data visualization tools (Domo, Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
      • Proficiency in SQL; experience with R or Python is a plus. Expertise in Excel
      • Experience analyzing, finding insights, and presenting insights based on large datasets (500M+ row)
      • Must have the ability to advocate, analyze, and understand technology to be effective personally and have an impact on business performance
      • Excellent organization and planning skills
      • possess solid communication skills, including verbal and listening skills to effectively and efficiently communicate with and work with diverse groups of people
      • Must possess integrity, a positive attitude, be mission-driven, and be self-directed with a demonstrated passion for Harmons’ mission and commitment to working collaboratively
      • Ability to interpret policies and procedures
      • Ability to handle conflict appropriately and professionally
      • Required to make logical, significant decisions using general, recognized analytical skills and techniques.
