- Responsible for managing medium to small programs.
- Has secondary responsibility to assist with program growth.
- May be responsible for marketing new technology or follow-on business acquisition.
- May be responsible for business development within the current customer base.
- Program complexity is the primary criteria for leveling.
- This job has a medium level of complexity.
- Complexity to be determined internally and may or may not be a function of dollar volume or contract length.
- Work with Human Resources and Recruiting department on staffing.
- Assist in small to medium proposal development.
- May be responsible for managing less complex proposals and market growth opportunities.
- May manage fixed price, T&M or CPFF contracts.
- May direct staff.
- May conduct audits and review/analyze data and documentation.
- Identify shortcomings and enable corrective actions.
- Provide primary employee support including timecards, travel, and personnel administrative functions.
- Assist with 60-day and annual performance reviews for contractor personnel.
- May serve as an on-site corporate office representative to the customer.
- May assist with Business Development activities such as drafting proposals, attending networking/contracting events, and providing past performance information.
- Prepare Monthly Financial and Status reporting as required by each contract.
- Assist with supervising contractor personnel and monitoring contract performance.
- Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals.
- Assist with proposal development, if necessary.
- Perform other duties, as assigned.
- Seven (7) years’ experience in executive administration support, assistant program management, or another related area.
- Four (4) years U.S. Government/Military Industrial Complex background desired.
- Previous experience providing quality/compliance expertise in an ISO 9000 services organization desired.
- Associates degree or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree desired.
- Program Management Professional desired.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with customer and fulfill all duties and responsibilities as listed in the contract.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including, but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position $90,000-$105,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. The Business Operations Manager is responsible for assisting the Executive Director with program execution and operations of programs and contracts assigned to the portfolio and has a secondary responsibility to assist with portfolio growth.
