  Job Title

  Business Operations Planning Manager, Altéa

  The position is to be fulfill within the VPO of Altéa Business Line under the specify scope of Business Planning & Operations. Among the various missions of the VPO (Communication, Transformation execution, VP support & Engagement, Governance Model), Business Operation Planning's mission is to translate the strategy of the business unit into a dynamic operational plan and to regularly monitor it. As such, it acts as the operations office of the Altéa business lines.

  
  This activity is aiming to support key operational decisions interacting directly with the Business Unit top management. Major missions of the team you will engage with are: long term plan, operational planning (Budget - rolling forecast), capacity plan elaboration, arbitration proposal, lean budgeting, and transformation of our key processes.

  Your main responsibilities
  

  Drive Strategy Execution

  • Understand the Altea business, context, vision and strategy.
  • Understand the objectives of the Portfolio perimeter he/she is in charge and derives an actionable operational plan (long-term , mid & short term)
  • Work with a large network of middle management staff (PM, RTE, PO) and provide a framework to build an operational plan and perform dynamic forecasting in synch with business objectives (revenues, commitment, product strategy)
  • Understand priorities and challenge the need for re-prioritization to support regular meaningful projections .
  • In case of unresolved prioritization, channel the case for decision making to the Portfolio synch and potentially to the Strategic Portfolio Reviews of the Business line.
  • Understand / know key artefacts that drive the operational plan (customer commitment, product roadmap business cases, other drivers...ie maintenance)

  Drive the optimization of the Capacity & Resource planning

  • Collect and consolidate inputs/assumptions and construct the yearly resources plan (Staff, CBS, DBS, non labor costs)
  • Monitor and track resources plan evolution based on past performance and forecasted evolution
  • Perform resources allocation by portfolio and train and make sure of the consistency of staff vs needs
  • Provide regular management reports and dashboards including cost, resource consumption figures
  • For services, when applicable, perform feasibility checks (resource availability, ramp-up feasibility) and centralize requests for resources (anticipation, planning, communication).
    

  Facilitate Performance monitoring

  • Business Domain performance monitoring
  • Define and manage a quarterly dashboard that summarize the key performance of the business domain to facilitate decision making
  • Prepare ad hoc analysis for division / domain management (division strategy, activity, key figures, project progress)
  • Regularly analyze deviation of actuals vs plan and prepare correlative action plan
    

  Change management - Regular improvements (remove impediments)

  Process & Performance improvement

  • Is able to formalize processes associated with particular objectives .
  • Is able to support processes changes and to empower key contributors by understanding the value of the change end-to-end

  Communication

  • Effectively communicate on the decisions-taken at the ceremonies and on their impact on his/her domain of scope
  • Facilitate the understanding of key objectives and target to make them executed
  • Effectively influence decision - making through documented facts & figures for the benefit of the Domain and the Business line

  Relevant work experience

  • 5+ years experience in business planning or business controlling roles in an IT company
  • Experience in strategy alignment, capacity management, and/or operational planning
  • Good understanding of SAFe methodology and principles is strongly preferred
  • Knowledge or experience in the travel or airline industry is strongly preferred
  • Fluent in English
