      Business Planning Analyst

      Description -

      The Marketing Planning and Operations team is seeking a highly skilled and strategic individual to enhance our Long-Term Planning (LTP) and streamline our operations process. This pivotal role will collaborate closely with Finance to fortify the annual and monthly planning frameworks, ensuring seamless integration and process optimization across Corporate Marketing.

      As a Marketing Planning Business Analyst, you will be instrumental in leveraging business strategy, analytics, and big data manipulation to establish robust structures and set a clear cadence throughout the fiscal year. Your efforts will be crucial for optimizing budget allocation, mitigating financial risks, and supporting senior leadership in making impactful business decisions. Your expertise will pave the way for structured, strategic controls and cross-functional planning integration, all while upholding our commitment to agility and adaptability. You will lead project management and process innovation, focusing on building and maintaining dashboards, developing and managing a 'Data Cube,' and ensuring clean data structures to support insightful planning and reporting.

      Key Responsibilities

      Empower Leadership: Provide actionable recommendations and strategic plans to senior leaders based on comprehensive data analysis, guiding pivotal business decisions.

      Enhance Marketing Finance: Support the development of marketing finance content, streamline budgeting processes, and promote the sharing of best practices.

      Forge Strong Partnerships: Collaborate effectively with Finance and Marketing teams to manage operational plans with strategic insight and precision.

      Innovate Marketing Finance Processes: Define and implement advanced financial processes, tools, and technologies to continuously improve marketing finance systems.

      Clarify and Guide: Provide clear direction on planning requirements and offer insightful guidance for marketing finance analytics and operations.

      Drive Business Excellence: Develop recommendations that optimize business and financial performance, leading to measurable growth and success.

      Knowledge & Skills

      Analytical Excellence: Utilize your analytical skills to inform decisions and shape strategy with advanced excel knowledge. PowerBI skills not required, but preferred.

      Data Analytics: Apply advanced data analytics to drive strategic marketing decisions, ensuring operations are guided by deep, data-driven insights.

      Financial Expertise: Demonstrate strong financial understanding to guide fiscal direction.

      Project Mastery: Showcase exceptional execution and project management capabilities.

      Communication Skills: Excel in both written and oral communications, with fluency in English (Advanced English level required).

      Proactive Approach: Embrace a problem-solving mindset, anticipating challenges and devising solutions.

      Interpersonal Influence: Use your excellent interpersonal skills to build consensus and influence outcomes.

      Leadership Communication: Confidently present and communicate with leaders and executives.

      Strategic Insight: Leverage your knowledge and experience in business and marketing strategies to drive success.

      Education and Experience Required:

      BA or BS in Marketing, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent business experience; MBA desirable, but not required.

      7+ years of working experience, preferable in a large corporate environment.

      3+ years marketing, finance, analytics or operational experience.

      The base pay range for this role is $102,000 to $157,000 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
