      Overview

      This role is responsible for programming and maintaining mid office technology and agent systems, GDS scripts and applications available in the Automation platform for Altour and Travel Leaders Corporate.

      This role has accountability and responsibility for the daily review of open projects relative to the automated quality control systems, ad hoc programming projects, GDS scripting, documentation of processes and business analysis efforts.

      The objective of this role is to support our corporate travel division with creative solutions that increase productivity related to the agent workflow process, end to end automation, client services and operational quality assurance.

      This position reports to the Manager of Automation with a high level of communication between departments.

      The salary range on this job posting/advertising has been developed to give applicants a wide range to comply with pay transparency laws in all states and geographical areas.       Responsibilities

      System Management
      • Receive, review and process Service requests from various internal and external departments, including Sales, Strategic Program Management, IT, Process Excellence, Finance, Reporting, Operations and our Clients.
      • Gather business requirements from all applicable key stakeholders related to the implementation or enhancement of any of our internal applications/systems/processes and translate into a functional Statement of Work.
      • Review issues and solutions with various supplier partners, including Concur Compleat, iQCX, Apollo, Sabre, Travelport Plus, Worldspan and any others, to analyze new and existing programming requests and providing second and third level support as an expert.
      • Write routines and business rules, test, debug, document and deploy new and modified code to quality control applications.
      • Participate in code reviews for adherence to standards and specifications.
      • Monitor processes for expected performance and respond to errors and emergency problems.
      • Assume on call responsibilities as required.
      • Proficient in project management across departments & systems, ensuring the timely delivery of requests and appropriate tracking of requirements as defined.
      • Provide recommendations for optimization of existing automation features, operational processes, and capabilities where applicable to promote standardization and efficiency.
      • Recommend new solutions and processes needed to meet team, client, reporting & operational goals.

      Communication
      • Communicate regularly and effectively on the status of all current projects and manage stakeholder's expectations appropriately.
      • Respond proactively and in a timely manner, in adherence to department service levels to service requests, project updates and agreed upon requests for information.
      • Conduct and/or participate in meetings to provide an overview of systems and integration processes and technology as needed including the preparation of documentation as required.


      Qualifications

      • Experience working directly with Travel Quality Controls Systems / Mid office
        • Concur Compleat, iQCX, AQUA, etc
      • Familiarity with database administration and SQL
      • Experience and understanding of version control concepts and practical application of systems
      • Knowledge of XML standards and web services management
      • Basic knowledge of Java
      • Working level knowledge of VB.net development
      • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
      • Excellent verbal and communication skills. Proficient in setting and managing internal and external customer expectations.
      • Strong organizational skills required to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
      • Must be able to work independently and complete deliverables on time and with the highest level of quality.
      • Substantial skills and proven working knowledge of at least two of the following GDS' (Apollo, Galileo, Sabre, Worldspan) with an understanding of industry and Corporate standards
      • Ability to translate business requirements into a technical project/task list, and communicate the desired functionality vs. current state to applicable parties.
      • Knowledge of the entire Microsoft Office suite of products
      • Bachelors' degree or equivalent experience
