What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide hands-on functional consulting services and support to the project team
- Lead discussions with Subject Matter Experts to translate financial business processes into functional system requirements
- Support process reengineering and improvement by leveraging expertise in federal business processes
- Develop and obtain approval for business process documentation related to system implementation
- Create, plan, and execute training curriculum for stakeholders
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Management
- Five years of related experience, with four years specifically in federal organizational change management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with federal financial, accounting, and budget business processes
- Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Security Clearance (requires U.S. Citizenship)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Federal consulting experience focused on business process improvement
- Knowledge of financial systems/Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and system implementations
- Change management experience supporting federal financial system implementations
- Experience applying federal financial regulations, including OMB Circulars and the Federal Financial Management Improvement Act
- Six Sigma Certification (green, black, or yellow)
