- Work with Relationship Managers to structure and execute transactions for the most complex customers, and to manage portfolio with high operating exposures.
- Act as the customer’s main point of contact for operational questions as it pertains to funds movement, payment processing, and credit-related needs.
- Handle and make decisions on complex customer issues, including escalation and resolution.
- Independently and proactively handle client concerns, deliver timely follow-up and solution-driven outcomes.
- Work with customers and aligned partners/peers to complete Compliance Due Diligence requirements, monitor and resolve overdrafts, address Risk Control System (RCS)/Transaction Risk Exposure (TRE) issues and process exception wires, as needed.
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of Treasury Management products/services as it pertains to this specific Line of Business (LOB)– Wires, ACH, CEO, etc.
- Interact confidently with management level client contacts to secure details in decision making process.
- Coordinate activities and assist in addressing concerns with various operations centers, internal bank departments, and outside vendors.
- Manage "owning the customer experience" approach and effectively execute on all standard protocols regarding interactions with customers.
- Gather required compliance/due diligence and Treasury Management documentation from customers associated with onboarding and any other associated risk management matters in a client-focused manner.
- Potentially lend support as a subject matter expert for peers.
- Partner with Relationship Support Management to complete LOB operational projects, as necessary.
- Support peer Business Relationship Support Specialists.
- Participate in projects and support business initiatives.
- 2+ years of Business Relationship Support experience, or equivalent, demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Bilingual speaking, reading, and writing proficiency in Spanish/English
- Bilingual speaking, reading, and writing proficiency in Portuguese/English
- Knowledge and understanding of Anti Money Laundering (AML) and Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Treasury management experience
- Relationship management experience
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to navigate multiple computer system windows, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
- Solid problem solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important

About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Relationship Support Specialist to serve as part of the Banks Relationship Support Team aligned with Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB). This role will support a large portfolio of customers in partnership with aligned internal partners such as Relationship Managers.
