What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and maintain an understanding of the business environment, including regulatory changes and market disruptions
- Support the execution and implementation of risk management policies, standards, and procedures
- Assist in regulatory and internal audit inquiries, ensuring timely submissions and accuracy
- Create risk reports that summarize key indicators and emerging risks within the business unit
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address root causes of risks and control gaps

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in Financial Services, First Line Risk Management, Enterprise Risk, or Operational Risk
OR
- High School Diploma or GED and 6 years of experience in Financial Services, First Line Risk Management, Enterprise Risk, or Operational Risk
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with associates, senior management, and various committees
- Knowledge of risk techniques, practices, and control frameworks

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of banking and government regulatory requirements, especially Compliance Management Systems (CMS)
- Experience in a large financial institution
- Prior compliance and risk experience
- Relevant certifications such as CRCM, PMP, or CISA
- Understanding of regulatory guidance related to risk compliance and privacy
