What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the organization's business environment, including market trends and regulatory changes
- Support the implementation and maintenance of risk management frameworks and policies
- Lead change initiatives, conducting impact assessments and facilitating implementation plans
- Create and execute comprehensive communication strategies to support risk transformation programs
- Draft, review, and manage the lifecycle of policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance and alignment with business objectives
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Financial Services, First Line Risk Management, Enterprise Risk, or Operational Risk
- OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Financial Services, First Line Risk Management, Enterprise Risk, or Operational Risk
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in Policy, Standards, and Procedure Governance
- Knowledge of risk techniques, practices, and control frameworks
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 5+ years of experience in corporate communications, change management, or organizational transformation
- Strong Project Management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in a large financial institution
- Knowledge of banking and government regulatory requirements and processes
- Relevant certifications such as CRCM, PMP, CERP, CAMS, ISACA CISA, or ISACA CRISC
