Business Services Administrator
Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki is the home of art for Auckland, its people and visitors, and a cultural leader in Aotearoa New Zealand. The Gallery's purpose is to be a creative catalyst for art and ideas, offering transformational experiences that strengthen and enrich our communities. Audiences are at the heart of Gallery activities, which extend from our redeveloped and expanded site in the arts and learning precinct of inner-city Auckland.
We are currently looking for a Business Service Administrator. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to be a part of the team providing support and administration services to the Office of the Director.
This is a busy, varied role where you will ensure the smooth day to day running and provide continuous improvement of the administration services, including providing unique support services to the Executive Assistant, Director, Leadership Team and broader gallery business programmes as required.
This is a permanent, full-time position working Monday to Friday in the office with flexibility regarding start and finish times.

To be successful in this position you will have proven experience in a business coordination, administration, or office manager role. While it’s not essential to have a knowledge of the arts, a passion for creativity is welcomed.
With a warm engaging nature and eye for detail, you will have excellent interpersonal skills, time management , organisational and written communications (including minute-taking) skills , with the ability to complete work accurately and comprehensively.
You'll be solutions-focussed and an energetic, responsive , hands-on team player with the ability to work in a high pressure and ever-changing environment. You’ll be an adept Office 365 user, quick learner of additional apps, travel management, corporate document management/archives and follow organisational policies and procedures.
Given the nature of the position, you’ll be able to treat information with sensitivity and confidentially and you'll need a high level of integrity and professionalism.

Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki works to uphold and maintain the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi with the support and guidance of tangata whenua, manawhenua and mātāwaka. Our staff are engaged in their own te reo Māori/Te Ao Māori journeys at varying levels and we encourage participation in the internal classes and waiata practice provided by our Kaupapa Māori team.

The salary range for this position is 55k – 65k per annum, skill set and experience dependant. (Band D)
