We’re actively seeking a talented Business Strategy Analyst II to join our Business Strategy Team in Newport Beach. This role can be on-site, or hybrid.

      As a Business Strategy Analyst II, you’ll play a key role in Pacific Life’s growth and long-term success by solving complex problems. You will fill an existing role that sits on a team of six people in the CMD division. Your colleagues will include Business Strategy Consultants and Customer Experience Consultants and fellow strategy professionals. While you will have a lot of support from strategic leaders, we are looking for someone who is comfortable diving into ambiguity and proactively sharing thoughts and suggestions to bring maximum value to the Division and the customers that we serve.



      How you’ll help move us forward:

      • Assessing qualitative and quantitative information to glean actionable insights in support of strategic initiatives
      • Collaborating with strategy and business leaders during strategic planning process
      • Collaborating with strategy leaders to create strategic artifacts and senior level presentations
      • Managing deliverables and deadlines for key strategic planning events, senior leader off-sites and key presentations
      • Conducting secondary research to identify relevant industry and market trends


      The experience you bring:

      • Bachelor’s degree
      • 2+ years working in strategy function or strategic consulting
      • Comfortable working with data; prefer familiarity with Excel pivot tables
      • Strong collaboration skills
      • Strong PowerPoint skills
      • Comfortable work with ambiguity

      What will make you stand out:

      • Management consulting experience is a plus

      Base Pay Range:

      The base pay range noted represents the company’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.

      $80,730.00 - $98,670.00
